Brathay - London Marathon
Campaign by Brathay Trust (RCN 1021586)
Running a marathon is an enormous personal achievement. Our London Marathon Golden Bond runners not only complete one of the most famous races in the world, but also raise funds to support some of the UK's most vulnerable children and young people.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On April 28, at an age - think the numbers 6 and 0 - when I thought slippers would be my preferred shoe wear (no way), I will be running the London marathon for Brathay Trustworthiness .

Why? Because I love running. Because I love Brathay and the work it does helping kids better themselves. And in memory of two big Brathay 'friends' - Matt and his Dad Martin Campbell. As you will probably know, Matt tragically died running last year's London marathon in memory of Martin.

It would be lovely if you could support the charity via my running legs.

Having just been diagnosed with prostate cancer (under control at the moment), I want to do this run. I might be snail like but I will complete it.

Thanks for reading. Thanks for supporting.

We work with a wide range of young people, often with fewer opportunities in life, including those managing the transition from living in care to independence, at risk of exploitation in unhealthy relationships, needing confidence to find work or training, or facing other challenges in their lives.
