We are two friends, age 11 and 13, who have known each other since we were toddlers. Our names are Erin May and Jess Rae. We have been growing our hair for years and often get comments on how lovely, thick hair we have.

Jess has been thinking about donating her hair for a long time. She was then prompted to take the plunge by a friend who had cancer treatment as a child and later donated her own hair to help others. Inspired by this story she was determined to do the same.

Sitting around the campfire in May, Jess told Erin the story about her brave friend. Erin immediately wanted to donate her hair too.

We will be cutting 7 to 9 inches of our hair on 21st July and will be putting up pictures of the end result. So as we are taking the brave step of cutting some of our hair off to make wigs for these special kids we would love it if you could take the step to sacrifice some of your money to help those coping with cancer. Our goal is to raise £1000 and we would love it if you were part of that donation.
