Story

Kit Sponsor: Brother UK

On the 21st May 2016 six JGBM colleagues will be setting out on what has to be described as a "Gruelling 36.6 mile Adventure" across the barren land of Dartmoor. Hiking through marshes, crossing rivers and tackling as many as 27 Tors throughout the Dartmoor national park, including the highest Tor on Dartmoor "Yes Tor", ascending to the dizzy heights of more than 2000ft at "High Willhays", this challenge isn't for the faint-hearted, it is however all being done for a very worthwhile cause. All proceeds raised will be helping Cancer Research UK to continue their great efforts in battling a terrible disease, which affects so many people not only in the UK but across the wider world. Your kind donation will help to put smiles on the faces of families. Due to the efforts of Cancer Research UK, loved one's have a far greater chance of survival or even being cured from a disease that takes so many people prematurely.

If you are able to donate, however large or small please do so. We will be putting ourselves through what will seem like hell on the 21st-22nd May but if it helps to save even 1 life then every twisted ankle, cut, bruise or tired limb will be worth while.

Thank you to our major sponsor Brother UK for providing the necessary equipment, enabling us to undertake this event.

Please pass this page on to friends, family and colleagues and help us achieve our goal of Raising money to save lives!
