A wonderful young man called Alex Read was a student at my school Saint John Houghton Catholic Voluntary Academy. Sadly he died early this year at 14 years of age and I want to so something to remember him by and support Bone Cancer research. He was a great lad, full of talent and brought some much fun to Saint John Houghton. During his life he never complained and never sought attention and fuss. He was and is an inspiration to me and so many others.
