Lead Campaign Manager (CRM)

About the role

We’re  looking for a Lead Campaign Manager to lead a team of 3 as we start to leverage insight, increase personalisation and introduce new digital channels to the mix.

We are looking for someone with solid digital and technical knowledge to work with the Head of CRM to transform our CRM capabilities and programmes. We are not looking to just increase open rates or click-throughs; we want to drive donations from meaningful engagement with JustGiving’s digital touchpoints. 

You will be passionate about behavioural marketing, user journeys, and multi-channel communication strategies to grow our active user base and lifetime value. Leveraging our impressive Data Science team to ensure that we’re driving user behaviour change, tapping into transactional and behavioural data whilst ensuring we have an effective CRM measurement framework.

You’ll be passionate about technology, keeping up with industry developments and looking to ensure best practices are used to deliver an effective and robust CRM programme.


  • Work alongside B2B and B2C teams to engage with and grow our community of over 23 million users 
  • Own the CRM content plan and calendar, working collaboratively with Marketing, Product, Partnerships & Customer teams
  • With the Head of CRM, define and deliver our vision for creating an insight-driven User Engagement Strategy that enhances our user’s experiences and increases revenue and LTV
  • Continually seek to drive CRM innovation to grow the channel’s impact, working alongside; Marketing, UX, Design & Data Science 
  • Lead the team to oversee the set-up, execution and optimisation of the CRM Programme within our Campaign Management tool, including: 
    • Strategy & planning
    • Targeting & Audience selection 
    • Creative, copy & HTML build
    • Audience Selection; building the segments and control cells within our ESP tool
    • Campaign build, QA, tracking

About you

  • Experienced CRM specialist with experience of developing and delivering impactful and successful Customer Engagement programmes
  • Proven experience leading, managing, and retaining a team of exceptional talent as well as creating a culture of innovation and a commitment to achieving results
  • Experience of managing/using complex CRM systems, SMFC would be preferable
  • Self-starter. organised and highly motivated
  • Strategically minded, but with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the detail
  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills and an ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
