Story
Hello there! My name is Jordanne and I'm planning to do The Big Fun Run 5K in October in aid of the Scottish Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue. Staffies are a very misunderstood breed and so many of them end up unwanted or in kennels but they really are wonderful dogs and owning one can be so rewarding.
The people involved in this charity do some incredible work, taking the dogs into their homes and driving all over the country to make sure the dogs find new homes! I have seen this first hand from adopting Staffies from them 3 times so far. (That is not a final number either.. I can see there being many more!)
Our puppy Bobo that we recently adopted has been very unwell and is on a medley of tablets and injections. He has also undergone a number of skin scrapes/blood tests etc as he has what seems to be an incurable skin condition as vets are baffled as to what it could be! Our total bill has been close to £1000 but the generous people at this rescue have paid for over half of this!! We can't thank them enough. Although I'd like to raise thousands of pounds for them, this seems an unlikely goal so please just donate what you can!
Even if you can only spare a small amount, it would mean the world to this small charity and every penny goes towards the dogs!!
Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and please make sure you tick the Gift Aid box if you're a UK taxpayer!
Thank You
(In the picture is the newest staffie addition to my family, little Bobo)
