Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am going to play 101 songs one after the other on Keyboards. In support of Captain Tom’s 100 Challenge, who are encouraging people to raise funds for young people & their mental health

I play regular keyboard on The Facebook Group,  called Keys 🎹 & Fans 🎹 and I also work full time at a music retail shop in Essex called Allegro Music. I have playing for 46 years and have set this challenge for Friday 30th April at 12pm UK time.

I wanted to do something in honour of Captain Tom Moore and thought I would do this playing Live on Zoom. You are invited to join me at the link below.

Topic: Sponsored Charity Event for Captain Tom’s 101 Birthday. I will play Live Continuously 101 songs on the Keyboards

I have challenged myself to play 101 songs one after another without stopping. This is not going to be easy, getting the songs to flow into one another with different styles, key signatures, timings etc. But I will achieve it.

So please support me and the Charity for which I am raising money, The Cirdan Sailing Trust. A small charity based in Essex, Cirdan works with disadvantaged young people including those who suffer from Mental Health Issues, Learning Disabilities and other needs. The Cirdan Trust aims to provide these young people with the opportunity for self-development from the experience of living and working on large sailing boats.  This year they are planning a voyage around the UK for ten groups of young people who have suffered  a Psychotic experience.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please everyone support me in trying to get to the £1000 I hope to raise. Let’s do in Sir Captain Tom’s Memory and I promise I will play some of his favourite songs.
