Story
Over The Wall is a small but life-changing children’s charity that supports children with serious illnesses and their families and is part of the wider SeriousFun Children’s Network founded by the late actor and philanthropist Paul Newman. They run free activity camps for these children which focus on being a child and not a patient, and welcome children with over 130 different serious illnesses including cancer, congenital and neurological disorders and HIV. My son, Adam, has been going to Over The Wall camps since he finished chemotherapy and it has given him self-confidence, happiness, mental and emotional strength and the chance to just be a kid, with other children who also face illness and hospital procedures.
