. The John Rattray Statue Fund will raise a bronze of Rattray for Leith Links to celebrate Leith’s golfing history. Rattray signed the first rules of golf in 1744 and won the “Open” golf competition becoming “Captain of Golf”. Of the £50,000 needed for the Statue £35K is Pledged or in place.
