Story

After watching a program about koalas who have been rescued, Lucas wanted to help in some way.  I thought he would forget about this in a couple of days but he hasn't.  After having the discussion why we can't just adopt a koala, Lucas decided he wanted to do some fundraising.  He learnt about the devastation caused by the Australian bushfires and wants to send money to help the environment ready for the koalas to be released in once they are ready.  Lucas has said he will climb Roseberry topping in North Yorkshire, Simon side in Morpeth and the Cheviot in Northumberland.  I'm so proud of how determined he is and how passionate he is about wanting to help something that has obviously made a impression on him.  He will be so so chuffed with any money raised.
