Grenfell hit Kensington Aldridge Academy hard, and the KAA Intrepidus Trust (KIT) has been working alongside the school in the aftermath to support the school through this period and beyond.
Set up in November 2017 by a group of the school’s governors, KIT’s mission is to broaden the horizons of the 1,200 pupils of Kensington Aldridge Academy (KAA), 68% of whom are identified by the government as the most disadvantaged; double the national average. We aim to provide our pupils with opportunities which equal the best that can be found anywhere in the country, through the delivery of an ambitious programme of performing & creative arts, life-skills, academic and sports enrichments.
We recently launched the KAA Intrepidus Trust Endowment Fund will provide long term financial security to ensure the Trust is well-positioned to serve generations of KAA pupils to come.
We have an ambitious goal of raising £2 million by December 2019, and best of all, every donation, large or small will be matched by a generous lead donor, up to a total £500,000!
