Story
Frances Smith (Adrian's lovely wife) died at the age of 43 from a brain tumour. She had two children - Magnus and Sebastian (pictured), who were 10 and 8 at the time of her death. They lost the single most important person in their lives before they were even teenagers.
Richmond's Hope is a charity which specialises in helping children like Magnus and Sebsatian, through active play and other activities. The boys have explored their feelings through making memory pillows and memory boxes, to help them express their grief and, by communicating it in this way, come to terms and understand it.
The help and support given by Richmond's Hope has made a material difference to the lives of Magnus and Sebastian. They are now better able to deal with the loss of their mother and understand their grief. By supporting Richmond's Hope, you will be enabling other bereaved children to get the same support, which will make a difference to their lives, and the lives of everyone around them. It will not make everything "better". Nothing can bring back a child's parent who has died. But it can enable those children to address and cope with their loss.
Please help - Richmond's Hope needs your support.
