Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am taking on a huge personal challenge of running a marathon for a cause very close to my heart. 

I have been training with, volunteering and then working with Children's Burns Club over the last three years and in that time I have seen the incredible impact this charity has had for many families. The Children's Burns Club creates opportunities for volunteers, families and young people who have been through some tough times following a life changing injury or illness to share their experiences with each other, and the impact this has is immeasurable. It is important to ensure that these opportunities continue to be available so please help me to help them. Well that was hot! Can't believe it's over! That was incredible, support was amazing! Before, during and after, from my wonderful husband, family, friends and colleagues and complete and utter strangers! It really kept me going alongside knowing how much money I was raising for the club, thank you so much everyone! And there's still time.... :)

Collected my number! This just definitely got very real! Feeling very anxious about the heat on Sunday, current predictions for warmest London marathon on record! I do not do well in the heat, snowy half marathon was my best race yet! But it is what it is and challenges are meant to be challenging right?! I've been amazed by the support and breaking the £2000 barrier more than makes up for the unwanted sunshine. Thank you everyone and here's to sunny Sunday :)

Got my marathon t-shirt and completed a 20 mile run yesterday (can't imagine how I would crawl around another 6!!). It was really tough and suffering a bit now so any sponsorship will really help get me through the next six weeks! Thanks everyone for all the support so far :)

Snowy half marathon complete! It's all starting to feel a lot closer now...last couple of weeks had left me with an unhappy knee but a visit to a brilliant physio and some exercises, ice and rest seems to have settled things so fingers crossed for a smooth journey from here!! Come on London! :)

10K run complete! Do I look like I could run another twenty miles?! No I didn't feel like it either. I guess this is what trainings for, slow and steady progress! :)
