As many of you know I have been involved as Patron of Aurora for a number of years. I have a passion for empowering women and admiration for the services that the charity provides.

Aurora is not a 'sexy' charity, its gritty and depressing in many respects, which makes fundraising even more challenging!  But from the work Aurora do there are many inspirational success stories that would not exist without the dedication of CEO Shonagh and the Team at Aurora.

Aurora are growing fast, soon to become a National Charity and i'm proud to be part of this.

As I am always up for a challenge I thought I would set myself a ridiculously high fundraising goal, as I know this would make a fundamental difference to Aurora.

There is no chance of me getting cold feet on the 28th November!
