Story
Martha and Michael will be undertaking fundraising efforts to support this small, community led and focused charity, helping people affected by sight loss to stay healthy and happy.
Like many small charities they've been hard hit by the impact on their fundraising activities and want to continue to provide support for their often vulnerable clients.
We'd love your sponsorship to help the charity and to encourage M&M in their worthwhile activities...especially Martha's if I'm honest.
Firstly, on the 2.6 theme Michael now sees himself as an ace goalscorer and has set himself the challenge of netting 26 times in just half an hour. With me in goal! I fear he's in for disappointment, but please give him your encouragement.
Perhaps even more excitingly for those of us who have been locked down with Martha - she has agreed to, ahem, suggested a sponsored silence! Following the 2.6 theme she initially suggested 26 seconds - which would have been some relief - and then 26 minutes before settling on an incredible 2 hours! This will be undoubtedly the longest period of waking quiet since Martha first said "Achoo" in 2011. I implore you all to support this.

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
