A few years ago I lost a very lovely friend, Sara Weymouth, known by so many in the theatre world and loved by all! Along with her death, my Grandfather died of Cancer, Steve McManus, Barry Hopkins, the wonderful Bernie Nolan and many other loved ones have died and left a scar on my heart! In Memory of these wonderful people I have decided to get off my tired, though rather pert, old backside and walk with my dearest friend Mhairi Nelson-Sturt and torture ourselves over August Bank Holiday and raise money for this wonderful charity! Mhairi's Mum died of Cancer at 52! My best male mate John, has his mum suffering with terminal cancer too. It breaks my heart as he loves her so much. SO SPONSER AND OLD TURN and let's give Marie Curie Nurses all the help we can!!! A few pounds will be fabulous as, I know.......times are hard but PLEASE HELP!!!
