Story
I am going to attempt a personal best on the Summer Solstice, cycling over 200 miles coast to coast.
Chase the sun is a physical, motivational and navigational cycling challenge which takes place on the summer solstice each year. With only 17 hours of daylight to conquer over 200+ miles of cycling, it runs coast to coast across the UK from east west. It is a group ride to experience, endure and savour the diverse geography, history, and weather of the country. From sunrise to sunset spend every minute of the years longest day on two wheels .

- Starting once again on the Isle-of-Sheppey, Minster (nearest rail station Sheerness). the 200+ mile route bi-sects south London, passing Richmond park, bridging the Thames, touching part of Wiggin's Olympic Gold time trial route, plus all the usual cross-country highlights, Bramley pub, mendip hills, Cheddar gorge, seafront finish at Burnham-on-Sea
This is a FREE ride, open to everyone who would like to join in. The next ride to Chase the Sun is Saturday 20th June 2015.
