The team have been absolutely staggered with the support given to us and a big thank you must go to our friends, family, colleagues, clients and consultants who have been so generous in their support of this event.

We have exceeded our target but still hope to raise even more money for the National Autistic Society by the start of our walk on Saturday.

The Lawrence McPherson Associates team will race against time to complete the 44 miles of the River Ayr Walk from it's inception at Glenbuck in East Ayrshire to the sea at Ayr in 1 day. 

The team intend to start their walk at 5 am on Saturday the 2nd August 2008 following the natural and scenic topography of the East and South Ayrshire countryside and finish at the beautiful sand covered beaches of Ayr by 9pm.

The recommended time to complete the River Ayr Walk is two/three days but our team believe that, although difficult and challenging, it is possible to complete it in 1 day and it is a challenge our team are looking forward to.

We have chosen to raise money for the National Autistic Society and our team would appreciate any support you may be able to give.
