Story
LodeFest 2022 is this weekend (26th, 27th, 28th of August).
We raised £1250 for Young Lives Vs Cancer last year so we'd like to do it again . LodeFest is a weekend of live music in an idyllic pub beer garden next to the River Severn.
When Richie and Stuart started planning the first LodeFest during the Covid Lockdown, Richie's Step-Daughter, Yolani, was adamant that she wanted to use the festival to raise awareness of, and raise money for Clic Sargent, now known as Young Lives Vs Cancer.
Here are her own words:
"My name is Yolani and I’m a 16 year old school student in Worcestershire. My stepdad and godfather are running a music festival to raise money for CLIC Sargent.
10 years ago at the age of 6 I was diagnosed leukaemia, and myself and my family were so well looked after by CLIC and would like to say thank you. Thankfully I finished treatment 6 years ago and have been cancer free ever since!
I want to raise awareness of the work CLIC do, and I want them to continue to be able to help other families like they helped me and mine".

Young Lives Vs Cancer are there with real, practical support for families who are facing probably the most challenging period of their lives.
Every day, 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Young Lives Vs Cancer will be there to help them find the strength to face everything cancer throws at them, but they can't do it without you. Please donate what you can.
Thank you.
