This July, a group of (mostly) novices are embarking on a challenging cycle from London to Paris—a distance of roughly 160 miles. We also hope to complete the challenge in less than 24 hours.

The premise of this challenge is to raise money for research and care in memory of Lucy, who tragically lost her battle with Lymphoma—a form of blood cancer—in February this year. The two charities that we have pledged to support are Bloodwise (a blood cancer research charity that provided excellent support and guidance to Lucy during her treatment and throughout her illness) and East Cheshire Hospice—where Lucy spent her final week supported by an incredible team of nurses and palliative care professionals.

We'll be sharing regular updates on how training (or lack thereof!) is going. Wish us luck and please give generously to these 2 great charities!
