Story

London to Monte Carlo

On 29th April 2012, 9 crazy adventurers, none of whom are "cyclists" - are going to attempt a feat rarely achieved: to cycle nearly 1,000 miles from London to Monte Carlo.

The Team of "cyclists" are: Ally Gormley; Tony Woodhams; Keiron Blay; Matt Barrelle; Lisa Caswell; Antonio Duarte; George Rolls, Renata Turlej and Nigel Payne.

Cycling around 70 miles per day for 14 consecutive days, the team will leave from the O2 in London on Sunday 29th April at 7.30am and, travelling down through France and over the lower alps, arrive in Monte Carlo on the evening of Saturday 12th May - we hope!

Burning over 6,000 calories a day each the team face an arduous task in both readying themselves for a challenge that gets bigger by the week and also making it to the finish line!

The team are all cycling in aid of Breast Cancer Care (75%) and Breast Cancer Haven (25%). Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We all greatly appreciate any help you can give.

So please dig deep if you are at all able. Many thanks.
