Thank you for visiting my Race for Life page. 

I came in close contact with cancer in 2009 when my mum was diagnosed. She put up a great fight but it was too late, and she died in 2010. It's a scary and painful disease that I don't wish upon anyone. 

I'm taking part in this race to hopefully raise a little bit of money and awareness that can support future cancer research. The more we know, the faster we can find treatments that work for everyone.

Those of you who know me, know I have a love-hate relationship with running. This is my first ever charity race (or any race whatsoever in my adult life) so that's why I'm starting out with a 5k. Next time 10!
