Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Described as the Formidable Challenge.

On 2.00pm Saturday 6th September 2014, I will be sealed inside a 10ft ISO shipping container for 453 hours solitary confinement, approximately eighteen days.

The target is to raise £80,000 to help the Families of the Fallen, the Wounded and their Carer's to have a holiday to aid their recuperation and recovery.

One hour of solitary confinement for each Soldier killed in action in Afghanistan to honour their Courage and Sacrifice.

My Solitary Confinement emphasises with the situation soldiers face when they are in a conflict  zone, with limited contact with home and only basic facilities on offer, as well as the mental confinement many face on returning from their service.

During the eighteen days a  webcam will send  live images 24/7 to the "man in a box" website:

 http://www.maninabox.org.uk/

The container will be opened to allow my exit from the box     At 11.15 am. Thursday, 25th September, 2014.                   Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa, Axbridge Road, Cheddar,    Somerset, BS27 - 3DB.

An Auction of donated items will start at 11.45 am in main Reception building.
