The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

All our staff at Royal Blind, especially our nursing and care teams,
have been going that extra mile to care for all the residents across our five services
during this pandemic.  This is why we want to show our support by taking on these challenges to raise much needed funds to help our services during this pandemic.

Mark will be rowing 26,000 strokes over 26 days, Stephen will be running 2.6 miles a day for 10 days and Hawys will be aiming to burn 260 calories a day for 10 days by doing a Body Combat class.

We are all very grateful for the generous support Royal Blind receives which allows us to ensure our residents in our residential services are receiving the best care possible.

Our key workers are inspired by the huge outpouring of public goodwill and support that they are receiving.  We know COVID-19 has put a huge strain on many families. But if you would like to donate to help with our work at this vital time, we would be exceptionally grateful.

We strongly believe that everyone with sight loss deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling life. We don’t just see blindness. We see far beyond this. We see opportunities. We see hope. We see possibilities, not barriers, not boundaries, not barricades.
