Running the Dragon's Back race from north to south Wales, over 310km and >50K feet of ascent over 5 days, is probably most ridiculous thing I've attempted.  Check it out at http://www.berghausdragonsbackrace.com/latest-news/.  It seems ridiculous enough to justify asking you to help raise money for a good cause!

Remap is a UK charity who connect skilled volunteers, often engineers, with disabled people to create custom equipment that enables a more independent life.  I'm supporting them as a great example of how technology skills can be used for good.
