Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Mathew had a serious accident at home in Sept 2015, his injuries were so severe that the only option was for the air ambulance to fly him to Kings college hospital in London for life saving surgery. After more than two years of recovery Mat and Richard are taking on the challenge to ride their bikes from Maidstone to Barcelona in aid of the organisation that saved Mathews life.

The ride will start on the 8th June with a group ride (all welcome) to Portsmouth where the two of them and their support vehicle will take the overnight ferry to Caen in Northern France. They will then ride for the next nine days an average of 100 miles per day until they cross the Pyrenees and ride into Barcelona on Sunday 17th June.
