Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We will be taking part in the Seed 24 Peaks Challenge on the 3rd and 4th June, aiming to climb 24 peaks in the Lake District in just 24 hours, including England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike. We are doing this to support an organisation that is close to my heart – Seed.
Over the past 10 years and more, our family have been closely involved and benefited greatly from Seed. Their goal is to
strengthen the family unit by equipping parents to raise their children with wholesome self-esteem in a secure and positive environment. Seed supports and guides parents via a range of educational and social opportunities based on a sophisticated, authentic and contemporary knowledge of Judaism. Their programmes include mother and baby groups, parent and child activities in primary schools, parenting workshops, residential weekends away for families
and trips abroad.
As a family, we regularly went away on Seed trips, even twice to Israel, and felt like we gained a second family in the organisation. The rabbis, teachers, parents and children all received us with open arms, and genuinely cared and supported us in the journey we took to become ba’alei teshuvah. Every person we approached was warm and considerate, and we feel proud to be associated with, and grateful to have benefited from, such an amazing organisation. To this day, our Seed family are some of our closest friends, and we have B”h shared many of our simchas with them – we look forward to many more!
We hope and wish that this wonderful organisation will only continue to blossom and grow, helping and supporting so many along the way… so, please dig deep and show your support!
