THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SPONSORED ME!!!!
In July last year, our lovely Mum passed away at the Eden Valley Hospice in Carlisle after finally ending her battle with cancer. Her last weeks with us were a special time. The Eden Valley Hospice made this possible and we are eternally grateful to them.
On May Day 2010, in Mum's memory, and to raise money for the hospice, Robin (with help along the way from Dad, Juliet, Michael, Tara and Kevin) welcomed the first springtime since her death with a 192-mile walk from St Bees Head in Cumbria to Robin Hood Bay in Yorkshire following the Wainwright Trail . A marathon a day for a week over three mountainous national parks. I managed to complete the trail in 6 days and 9 hours.
Please continue to support the hospice if you can by donating through JustGiving (which is simple, fast and totally secure). Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks so much for any contribution you can make, Robin
