Mel and I have spent the last six months planning and working toward our adventure of paddle boarding the length of the River Thames.  

In preparation (mental training) for the trip, we spent 14 days hiking to Everest Basecamp with our local Nepalese Guide and Porter Gombu, as well as exploring other areas of Nepal.  We were luckily enough to be there before the earthquake.  

I came away having the most incredible experience, which was made even more special by the Nepalese people I met.  I will be going back to Nepal to explore the country further on my own one day - thats how safe and comfortable I felt as a women traveller there!  We want to help Nepal recover as quickly as they can, by raising money for DEC to support the local Nepalese people.  We hope you can help.  Thanks for your support x
