Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Through work our team have been supporting Deafblind Scotland for the last 3 yrs.

The charity supports people who are dual sensory impaired, many who are effected in later life. The charity have been raising funds for "The field of dreams". Which will become a centre of excellence with specially adapted facilities in which people can learn easily, develop skills, meet, socialise. Meaning a building where communication is made easier and getting around independently is made possible.

At their gala ball in March, Rebecca and i were talked into abseiling to help raise funds. Well Rebecca jumped at the chance! And thought if i took part loads of folk would sponsor us.

So on Sunday 31st May Rebecca and I take our lives in our hands and will climb to the top of the Finnieston Crane, harness ourselves and climb over the barrier before abseiling to the bottom!!

I'm sure we'll have a great time but we need your help. Every penny we raise will be matched pound for pound by our company Santander

Please sponsor us even if its only a pound...every donation counts

Thanks Rebecca and Michelle x

People who are deafblind have substantial visual and hearing loss which causes extreme difficulty with communication, information and mobility. We aim to raise aspirations and expand the lives of Deafblind people, some of the least visible and most isolated members of society.
