Story

Running Marathons / Ultras since 2009 raising money for Help for Heroes. 80+ and counting...

Now for 2014...This year's big challenge is 'Only Fools & Heroes'. I will be running the Paris & New York marathons as well as a 300 mile run from Peckham to Lands End dressed as Batman! I'm continuing to raise money for our brave Heroes and Heroines, with every penny raised going to Help for Heroes!

Previous highlights:

4ootball Marathon - 100 mile solo run between 4 football league grounds

Gavin & Stacey Marathon - 205 miles from Gavin's Billericay to Stacey's Barry Island

Stadia Marathon - Wembley>Lords>Twickenham>Wimbledon>Crystal Palace

2013's test was a 300 mile soap-inspired run in May. I set out from the Eastenders set at Elstree, running North to Yorkshire to visit Emmerdale then headed West to drop-in on Weatherfield and Corrie, before completing my run in Hollyoaks.

It was great to meet so many small screen legends and receive so much wonderful support along the route!

There's plenty more to come - to see all the latest details and photos, then go to http://midasmarathon.tumblr.com/ or please visit www.midasmarathon.com

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now....

Thanks for your interest, and hopefully your support.

All the best,

Richard
