Story
As part of an initial 12-month programme, we've agreed to support Empire Fighting Chance in a number of different ways, ranging from mentoring and hands-on support through to financial fundraising with a minimum financial commitment of £10,000.
The agreed initiatives will see us building a polytunnel for a new organic vegetable garden at Empire’s HQ, hosting a charity golf day, running the Bristol 10K, ongoing mentoring and a wide range of staff fundraising activities and challenges taking place throughout the year.
Commenting on this partnership, Mobius Works Managing Director, Lee Bignell said:
“As a business, we are keen advocates of cultivating young talent and we provide opportunities to young people through our apprenticeship programme. We also already support a number of junior sporting teams and events throughout Bristol. As our business grows, we have become increasingly committed making a positive contribution to the local community and wanted to identify a local charity that we could formally partner with for the long term. Empire Fighting Chance works to inspire young people, most often from deprived backgrounds, to realise their unique potential and as such are the perfect fit for us.”
Jamie Sanigar, Founder at Empire Fighting Chance, said:
“Partnering with Mobius offers fantastic opportunities for Fighting Chance. As well as helping us to raise vital funds for our work to make a difference to the lives of young people, their hands-on support will provide other important and tangible benefits and we are delighted to have them on board.”
