Staff at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust have been on the front line since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This new fundraiser is an event that will help you stay fit and active as well as raising funds to support our vital staff. From domestics, catering staff, operating department practitioners to nurses and healthcare assistants, our team need your support more than ever.

Whether it be 5k, 10k, a half marathon or a full marathon, and however you choose to complete it, every participant and every donation is guaranteed to make a difference. You can sign up to Go The Distance for MTW at https://bit.ly/2020Gothedistance

This event focuses on wellbeing, both physical and mental. All funds raised will therefore be invested into staff welfare initiatives as part of our staff support package to staff in response to the Covid 19 pandemic.

Once the appeal's aim has been achieved or not enough money has been raised to carry out this aim, any surplus or unused funds will be used for the general aims of Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Charitable Fund (as permitted by the Charitable Fund's objects).

Complete the challenge and fund raise a minimum of £10 and you will qualify for a bespoke medal celebrating your achievement and contribution to your local hospital trust at a time when we need each other the most.

Thank you

About the charity

We raise vital funds to make MTW Hospitals an outstanding, patient friendly provider by providing additional equipment, services and amenities, above what the NHS can currently provide, improving the care received and health outcomes across the areas in which the Trust operates.
