We fight cancer to support people and their families.

Story

I came across Team Verrico through a mutual love of VW's and thank goodness we did!

My husband has a rare Cancer called Pseudomyxoma Peritonei which originates in the appendix. We were at a stage in Steve's care where the Cancer wasn't responding to the chemo and the surgeon said it was too advanced to carry out a completely successful surgery.

By a simple twist of fete and the aforementioned love of VW's, I made contact with Paul the founder of Team Verrico...he said he could help. Within what seemed like no time at all we were on our way to London for an appointment with a top Professor in the Oncology world at Londons LOC on Harley Street; all funded by Team Verrico!

Immediately the Professor suggested a change of chemo which has had a huge positive impact on Steve's health. I have been paying it forward ever since and will continue to do so'

Myself and a group of friends recently took part as a Team in the Tour De Broads South and raised over £1500 for Team V - I now have the cycling 'bug' and therefore decided to organise my own family friendly sportive. Tickets are £10 (under 16's free) - payment can be made directly on this page. Following payment please message me so that I can obtain an email address for future communication.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for taking part in the Mundesley Mini Sportive!
