Story
Hello Everyone!
Like many other charities throughout the UK, Enham Trust has been hugely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We have experienced a significant reduction in the donations we would normally receive as a result of many event cancellations, our social enterprises coming to a halt and our charity shop being forced to close.
Our front line staff are going the extra mile to ensure the disabled people we support are kept safe, healthy and happy. However, fundraising plays an important role, now more than ever in our ability to continue providing the disabled people we support with the services they need, and most importantly deserve during these difficult times and beyond.
I am so incredibly proud to work for Enham Trust, a truly amazing disability charity that is extremely close to my heart. Having worked within the fundraising team for nearly 4 years I know just how important the donations we receive are to our work, and the awful situation our entire country is now experiencing, makes the need for these vital donations even more important.
So, to try and make even a tiny bit of difference I have decided to join the #TwoPointSixChallenge and on Sunday 26th April and Monday 27th April I will be walking around the block 26 times in total (socially distanced of course!)
This roughly works out at 4.42km or just over 2.6 miles each day, covering a total distance over two days of 8.84km or just over 5 miles (roughly the distance of my commute to work at Enham Trust). Whilst this might not seem far for some, this is a fair amount of Chloe miles which I am determined to finish and raise as much money as I can for a truly special place!
Thank you so much for any amount you are able to give, it is hugely appreciated.
Stay safe everyone!
Love, Chloe x
