Mum was a softy and she went extra gooey for baby orang-utans.  This donation page is for the nanajan side of her.  The big kid, peterpan inside her that just never really grew up.  She was and was going to be a fabulous nana and was exactly the person a child wanted to play with, or be free with to do whatever they wanted.

Mum loved watching documentaries about the baby orang-utan orphanages in the last few years.  She thought they were gorgeous and had she been well and life taken a slightly different direction, I like to think on her bucket list would have been a visit out to see the babies and get an up close experience. We love that in her memory the  orang-utans might have a bit more support in their struggle to keep their species alive.xxx
