Story

Hi! I’m Natalie and on 7 I successfully  climbed  in in aid of Breakthrough for Breast cancer!

I decided to set myself this challenge for two main reasons –

Firstly, in 2002 my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and I’m so pleased to say that after a fierce battle my mother beat the cancer and is now once again healthy and happy! For this reason, I wanted to give something back to the charities such as Breakthrough who help people like my mother and families like our own overcome this illness.

Secondly, I realised it’s so easy to go through the motions in life and at some point it seems important to raise our game to the next level and challenge ourselves in a way that hasn’t previously been done. This is where the real test of our characters lie and the warrior within will have the opportunity to shine forth. And this is what I hope to achieve on a personal level.

The trek took 8 days up and 2 days down, reaching a total height of 5.895m also known as the roof of Africa.

I have personally contributed over £1000 towards this trip. However, to succeed in my challenge, I still need your help!! I have so far raised £5,660 which is almost my set target of £6,000.

So please, dig deep and for the sake of a good cause contribute as much as you can to help me climb for Breakthrough for Breast Cancer!

Thank you so much!!
