Domestic abuse affects 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men in the UK. We are fundraising for the chairty DASH who run 3 refuges in Slough.

We are Team Reiss from NCS, Slough, wave 11 and we are raising money for DASH charity, having worked with different members of the community we have broadened our understanding of others through NCS and allowed us to have compassion for those in need of help.

DASH helps men, women and children who have suffered domestic abuse by offering refuge homes for women and their children by giving them a safe and supportive place to escape. Their charity have helped over 6000 individuals each year since 1976.

It is important to raise money for them so they can continue to support victims of domestic abuse and educate people on the effects of domestic abuse, as it is something that can happen to anyone, regardless of their sexuality, gender, ethnicity, income, educational or national backgrounds.
