Story
Amy & Jack are raising money for the NDCS.
Hi, you may not have heard of the NDCS, it is a charity that supports deaf children and their families. When we found out our son Joseph was profoundly deaf, it was a big shock, we had so many questions and we didn’t know where to go to get answers. Until we found the NDCS.
When Joseph was 5 weeks old we attended an NDCS conference for parents of recently diagnosed babies. At the conference we were able to meet other parents, talk to experienced professionals and audiologists. The conference was a massive help to us and we are still in touch with the other families that we met. After the conference we felt empowered, positive and supported.
NDCS rely on donations to put on conferences like these up and down the country at absolutely no cost to the parents. As the conference was such a big help for us, as is the NDCS website, we want to raise money to give something back to them.
We are holding bake sales throughout October at Jadu, The Learning Support Centre, Tiny Talk and more...
We are also sharing this page to raise awareness for NDCS's important work!
