A friend of mine, Alan Sneddon, has taken on a challenge for Once Upon A Smile to make Christmas happen for 100 bereaved children by getting 100 friends to raise £100 each.

I’m delighted to say I will be one of these people, and I have pledged to give up my nightly glass of red in order to raise the money. In fact I’ll be giving up alcohol altogether in November, and those who know me will know how tough this will be!
