Story

This was one of the first activities Noah did when he came out of school a broken child in May 2019 at the age of 7.  They were so wonderful with him and he smiled for the first time in months. It’s an honour to be asked to help with fundraising. This will be a huge challenge for Noah as it’s the day after we get back from holiday and his mobility is something he struggles with hugely. He has to raise a minimum amount - but we would love to raise as much as possible. Any donations no matter how small we would be so grateful and Noah will repay with cuddles 💕

We will be completing the mighty Tardebigge lock flight. The longest lock flight in Britain spanning a mammoth 30 locks. We'll be on board the Worcester Birmingham & Droitwich Canal Society narrow boat, Cecilia. This challenge will need a lot of hard work managing the boat down the flight and operating all 30 locks, but we hope to raise a good amount of money for Cecilia's charity, to help with her maintenance and ongoing repairs, and ensure she can remain afloat for many other local community groups to use. We'd love your support here, and in person on the day if you're able to come along and give us a wave. Full details of our route will be posted on the charity facebook page shortly before the event www.facebook.com/wbdcs.org.uk.
