I'm taking on the Aspire Channel Swim 2018, swimming the distance of the Channel over 12 weeks to raise money for Aspire. Every eight hours someone is paralysed by a Spinal Cord Injury and Aspire provides the essential equipment, advice, housing and grants that people subsequently need to live their lives independently. Have a look at Aspire's website and what the money will buy. It really does bring home how much of a personal challenge physically, emotionally and mentally, such a life changing injury is. There is no sacrifice for me and no particular story for me to tell. The difference is made by everyone who gives support, it doesn't matter how much is given,  it is the collective effort and everyone who contributes that matter. I am not asking for a lot, if you sponsor me for just 10 pence a mile that will keep me swimming. So just give what you can, it all adds up! Thank you! Noel
