About Oakley Waterman Caravan Foundation Trust
The Foundation was set up in memory of Oakley Waterman who died in 2005 from a rare form of cancer. After the family enjoyed precious time together at a caravan at Church Farm, Pagham, it was Oakley’s wish to allow other families the same opportunity. Oakley’s family began the journey of carrying out his wish and with help from friends and family purchased their first caravan at Church Farm. Over the past 12 years, this has grown to a UK registered charity with a lodge and 2 further caravans across the South West of England providing families of terminally ill children valuable time together. To keep providing this opportunity, the Charity needs to raise in excess of £40,000. Funds are raised via many different types of sporting events the Charity organise and also from money raised and donated at various external events.
