We fund projects to give our patients even better care

Story

Oesophageal cancer is now the fastest rising cancer in the Western world - its incidence has risen by more than 500% in the last 4 decades!

If you have acid reflux/ heart burn/ indigestion on & off for 3 weeks, or if food is sticking when you swallow, please tell your doctor. The earlier we pick up the problem, the better the outcome will be.

If the cancer is picked up early, we may be able to treat it endoscopically (with a camera down the gullet) eg radiofrequency ablation/ endoscopic mucosal resection, rather than a big and long operation after chemotherapy.

We are raising fund to help look after patients with oesophageal & gastric cancer.

You can also donate by texting OGCA88 £10 to 70070

The Norfolk and Norwich Oesophagogastric Cancer Centre at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital are leading the way in the treatment of Oesophageal Cancer, and delivering excellent outcomes. All of the money we raise will help continue to improve the way we look after patients.

Thank you for your kind support.

About the charity
