I'm running the Athens marathon - starting in the actual town of Marathon and ending 42km later in Athens. Following in the footsteps of the ancient figure of Pheidippides, sort of, who had news to deliver at the end of his run, so in the spirit of the event what a great opportunity to raise awareness of an excellent east London charity that I've been involved with since last year, helping one of their residents with his English language skills. The charity provides accommodation and support to many homeless adults and assistance to improve their skills and move on with their lives.
