Story
Hey guys!
I hope you’re all keeping safe and sane in these testing times.
I’ve decided to take on the 2.6 challenge (more info in the link at the bottom) on Sunday April 26th in the hope of raising a bit of money for the Welcome Organisation, helping combat homelessness in Belfast.
The challenge I’ve set myself is to complete a 2.6 mile run by doing loops of the house, every hour, on the hour, until my legs give in. I’ve never attempted anything like this before so not exactly sure what to expect but my aim is to get at least 6 hours (roughly 15 miles) done. Dad and myself are going to donate £10 for every hour completed so if you felt like donating an extra pound or two on top of this it’d be hugely appreciated.
I am so, so grateful to every single person who is putting themselves on the frontline to help us all beat this pandemic. While I know all donations towards this fight are beyond deserving, I liked the thought of raising a few pounds to help towards all those charities who are struggling to survive in what has become the new normal.
Will keep you posted with how this goes.
Take care of yourselves and stay safe.
Thanks a million
Orla
