My mum passed on 18/3/2018 following a long battle with throat cancer. We would like to raise awareness and as much money as possible to a charity that meant so much to mum. After laryngectomy surgery she had to save her life. She lost her voice for a year. Shout at Cancer gave mum the chance not only to how to talk but SING! The chance to meet people of her peers that could only understand their shared special journey. And a joy in feeling herself even for a small time in life. Every penny we can raise will go directly to help people like my mum find an inner confidence and self worth that is lost with the destructive nature of throat cancer.
