I'm running the Leeds Half Marathon and raising money for Gig Buddies Bradford. Gig Buddies supports adults with a learning disability and (or) autism who live in the Bradford district to have an amazing social life!

I've been buddied with Harry for 3 years and it's been really fun. I've been out with Harry to a real variety of things, whether it's cinema, bowling or cycling to a nature reserve. It's been so beneficial for my own confidence and I can see the benefit it has on people throughout the group too. Huge shoutout to Andy!

Gig Buddies match the people they support with a volunteer. Connecting through shared interests, the paired gig buddies go out once or twice a month to enjoy whatever their “Gig” may be.

Each month there is 2 or 3 group socials, where we meet up have a giggle and enjoy a variety of events together!

It's all about supporting and empowering each other, sharing our interests and passions, building lasting friendships and above all making life awesome!
