Rust Bucket Rally – June 2026

Cookie (Mark Field) & Darren have entered The Rust Bucket Rally. The team will drive (hopefully😀) a 23 year old Nissan Cube for 3000 + miles passing though counties including Denmark, Norway & Sweden hitting check points (hopefully Hotels) on route for a great charity called Petals, all in 4 nights ........ (4th -8th June)

June 2026 will mark the twelfth running of the Rust Bucket Rally, a unique charity challenge where a group of enthusiastic drivers take on an extraordinary journey across Europe. Participants drive approximately 3000 miles + over five days in cars worth around £1,000, affectionately known as “Rust Buckets.” It’s a demanding adventure and certainly not for the faint-hearted.

Since its inception, the rally has raised nearly £600,000 for 12 local charities, making a meaningful difference to communities and causes that need support.

This year, the rally is proud to support Petals, the baby loss counselling charity.

Petals provides specialist counselling for parents who have experienced the devastating loss of a pregnancy or the death of a baby. These heartbreaking experiences often bring not only profound grief but also significant trauma. Petals’ highly trained counsellors offer compassionate, professional support, helping parents navigate their grief and trauma and guiding them towards a place of hope and healing.

By supporting this challenge, you will be helping Petals deliver vital counselling sessions to bereaved parents, ensuring families receive the care and support they need during the most difficult time of their lives.
