🚴‍♂️**Join Us in Pedalling for a Purpose!**🚴‍♀️

Barney & Matt have been cycling together for years and ride for Brockham Cycling Club (BCC). We love cycling! Matt had the privilege of taking some time out this summer and helped out at Wheels for All who do amazing work getting people with disabilities, young and old, out in the fresh air on specially adapted bikes. The charity works across the UK but has lot of local connections to Brockham. The mental and physical health benefits are truly phenomenal and this extends to the carers, families and volunteers who are all able to ride together.

Wheels for All is the very definition of inclusive cycling!

What’s the challenge? Well, after years of dreaming, we’ve finally signed up for an amateur stage of the epic Tour de France in 2024. It’s the same route the pro’s take 2 weeks later, departing Nice on 6th July, taking in four major climbs in the Alp-Maritime mountains; covering 138 km and 15,000 feet of elevation! The longest climb is 21 km, but the hardest is the final climb of 16 km, and maximum gradients of 20% finishing at the top of the Col de la Couillole.
